Description
Short throw shifter kit for OE replacement on 6 speed manual trans in:
- 2009-2015 Cadillac CTS-V (6.2L)
- Does NOT FIT V6, earlier models, or any other model; NOT for custom use!
Kit includes threaded tapered stainless steel stick, classic knob, base assembly with stick offset bracket & lower bushing cup pre-installed, mounting hardware, boot grommets, and installation instructions. 30% throw reduction. Knob height ~1.4" lower than OE.
Directly replaces OE shifter with no modifications; reuse stock trim. Knob thread is 3/8"-16; stock knob will not fit on this stick. Stick NOT recommended for use with pistol grip handle; see other versions of this kit
The base is built by Core Shifters using proven components inside a custom housing:
- High-strength billet steel gear selector stub
- Hardened steel cross-pin & stainless steel fulcrum pivot ring
- Self-centering cross-gate bias springs with heat treated spring seats
- Glass-reinforced polyamide fulcrum socket with steel wear clips
- CNC-machined billet aluminum housing
- Laser-cut steel lid
