- WARNING: IF you have a 4 speed (1982-1987), check RPO or confirm trans physically. S101 shifter is unique / not serviceable.
- T4 case has a top cover and bolts to a separate bellhousing; S101 has integral bellhousing (part of case) and solid case (no lid)
- S101 appears possible for all engines except 2.0L
- All 1988-1989 4.3L are automatic; all 1990+ 4x4 pickup & Blazer / Jimmy have 4.3L; all 2004 pickup are automatic
- 1994 Blazer / Jimmy use the 1990-1993 kit
